Job Description
We are looking for an exceptional Lead Artist to join our team! As a Lead Artist at GamesMadeMe you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of artists, both internal and external working on a specific game: delegating art tasks, monitoring the quality and consistency of the output of the art team, coaching junior artists, making sure the milestones are reached on time - and of course you will produce outstanding art! You will be involved in the complete development process. From start to finish, work on a variety of art assets (characters, environments and UI) and have a strong influence on our games overall. You will be involved in building a strong art team.
We are looking for someone versatile, with strong art skills and the ability to take something from concept to completion. We believe that raw talent combined with a positive attitude is what is needed to make great games. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
Requirements
- Experience in leading a team of artists or proven ability to grow into the role quickly
- 3-5 years experience in creating game graphics
- Excellent game focused portfolio
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and make decisions quickly
- Experience and skills in casual 2D graphics, but able to adapt to different styles
- Excellent knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good knowledge of 3D arts is a definite plus!
- Passion for games is needed
Location
Singapore. It's possible to start in Helsinki, Finland, but requires re-location to Singapore by end the of 2011

Job Description
This position is about research and development and solving the problems found and generated in the progress.
We try our best to be language agnostic, but for a reason excellent Javascript skills or willinges to learn them is mandatory. It does not hurt if you know your way around CSS3/HTML jungle and have battle scars from mobile development.
